I love photographing high school seniors! Beth was no exception. She shares a love of photography and wanted senior pictures that showed her personality. Shooting in her backyard, with a boat she and her Dad worked on together growing up, we certainly captured something special. Beth’s a senior at Bishop Hartley High School graduating in June. Christmas Lights

I love when my sister and I get our children together to take pictures for the family. It seems like Caelyn and Owen always have a blast, just being kids, even when my crazy photographer of a Mom/Aunt get crazy :) This year, we decided to do a fun holiday session in pajamas and have the Christmas lights out to play. I love how they turned out and I can’t wait to give them as gifts this year. Our grandmothers love when they get the newest photograph, but this year they will be getting a mini-accordion album also. So fun!!! Photography is always a great gift to give.



I am available for holiday sessions through Christmas Eve’s Eve, i.e. the 23rd, however, prints and products are only available through the 20th! Book your session in the Columbus Ohio area. Also, gift certificates are available this year in any denomination!

Elle

I was lucky enough to welcome 2 nieces this November! Yes, TWO, and on the same day! My sister and her husband welcomed, Elle. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law welcomed, Sofia. It was such an amazing day and I was so happy to be their official paparazzi. I felt honored to be part of their lives, the very second they were born. I got to meet them in that very moment. Being in the delivery room was an incredible experience I will never forget. It meant the world to me to be there for my sister, her hubby, and of course, my niece, Elle.

Here are a few of her newborn pictures that we shot inside my sisters home. We planned out our shots, and outfits, but Miss Elle is already a diva!  My sister did a great job coordinating her room and picking out colors and textures to match the nursery. Our favorite shop, Etsy!! Did you see her maternity session last month? She should just go ahead and study interior design because she knows what she is doing already!!

Help Cure Cancer

For those of you who know me personally, you know that earlier this year our Aunt Mary Jewel passed away from breast cancer. If you knew her, you knew her smile, her kindness, compassion, and her grace. She was an amazing woman, strong, and fearless. She inspired many and would want to do anything to help others stricken with a terrible disease.

My Mother-in-Law, Jo, and her sister, Linda, have teamed up and have committed to walk 60 miles in 3 days in November for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Not only are they walking, but have individually pledged $3000 in donations. The 3 Day walk (www.the3day.org) is taking place in Dallas TX, and regretfully I’m unable to attend, but have been so inspired by Aunt Mary I want to help! This isn’t a plea for donations; I want to donate MY TIME in service to her and this amazing cause. So, I’ve decided to make a very large announcement and commitment to this charity, and a cure.

My Pledge:
For ALL portrait sessions booked and paid for in the next 10 days (by October 25th), I will donate 100% of the session fee ($150) to TEAM MARY JEWEL. I only have 5 spots for this this year; the rest will be for 2012. Holiday Card Session

People are always asking me to do mini sessions so they can have a new photo for their holiday cards. Due to popularity of the “photo cards” over the holidays, I decided to spend a day at the studio giving everyone an opportunity to snap a few quick shots and offer the digital files specifically for the cards.

Packages include the session time (15-20 minutes), 5 digital files and print release, and a sample photo card for your family to send via email! :)

Sessions are limited- scheduling between 10 and 11:15am, as well as 5:30-8pm.
